CREDITED IN
Persona 3 Reload
I choose this fate of mine own free will.
One of the most ambitious projects I worked on so far.
The rich story and deep characters gave new meaning to my role as a translator, challenging me in both technical and creative ways.
I’m proud of my whole team for the outstanding work we’ve done to make it available to the Italian audience.
What do others think of me?
It’s easy to speak for myself on my own website, don’t you think?
Let’s read about me and my projects from someone else!
“Paolo is a highly responsible and responsive translator who not only efficiently and effectively completes our translation projects with precision, but also demonstrates exceptional patience and care in his work.”
–Vince Chen, Producer at ZigZaGame inc.
“The real gem of this edition, at least for our market, is the new Italian localization. After spending a few hours on both operas, we can confirm that the translation, besides a few tiny inaccuracies, is really well done. Not only it manages to stay true to every character’s linguistic register, it also contextualizes jokes with various Italian figures of speech.”
–Everyeye.it on P3P Remastered (article in Italian)
“English and Japanese dubbings are paired with an excellent Italian text adaptation, […]”
–DR COMMODORE on Persona 3 Reload (article in Italian)
“The careful Italian localization completes the experience, letting a wider audience fully enjoy this remake.”
–GameSoul.it on Persona 3 Reload (article in Italian)
“The dubbing is flabbergasting: the original voices are excellent (Lilith’s voice actress is incredible), but we noticed that the Italian localization is high quality as well: all renditions, from the protagonists to the last side quests’ NPCs, are curated and performed well.”
–Hardware Upgrade on Diablo IV (article in Italian)
“We also want to praise the Italian localization that carefully kept dialogue nuances and included some of our pop culture in many aspects of the experience, for example in the substories’ titles.”
–Everyeye.it on Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (article in Italian)
“The localization team did an amazing job, bravely translating even the most dirty passages, way more frequent compared to the previous chapters, due to the different story and social background of many non-playable characters.”
–Spaziogames.it on Yakuza: Like a Dragon (article in Italian)
“We want to report the presence of an incredible localization that managed to adapt a lot of puns and jokes, an element not to be ignored that offered a pleasant humorous note to the game.”
–The Games Machine on Yakuza: Like a Dragon (article in Italian)
